Christmas gif late, but kindess not lost on US troops in Iraq

The recent delivery of a cargo plane load of Christmas present may have seemed too long delayed for one group of well-wishers, but to the recipients, they arrived just in time.

Last fall, Myrtle Boston, 81, of Kennebunk headed a campaign to send some holiday cheer to airmen serving in the U.S. Air Force's 4th Special Operations Squadron, stationed in Iraq during the Christmas holiday. She rounded up a group of 20 or so fellow residents from the Atria of Kennebunk to volunteer to assist with the project.
